Sales Team Leader, Boulder Colorado

Role Overview:  The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating their team to exceed the team sales targets and deliver top customer service. They are the first point of escalation for any problems and should authorise suitable action by their team in the majority of cases. They are to ensure that each team member’s sales and customer service meet company expectations and that company values are being promoted and adhered to. They are responsible for identifying development needs and knowledge gaps, and play a key role in designing and delivering training and support, and ensuring its ongoing implementation. They report to the directly to the US Manager, Sales Manager and Sales Director and also work closely with the other Team Leaders to promote best practice and ensure peer-to-peer learning.

Providing the first line of management support; responding to team questions and issues
Devise engaging sales incentives and challenges to motivate and reward attainment of team sales targets
Proactively monitor team workload, sales and customer service and reporting  to US Manager, Sales Manager and Sales Director
Assisting with time management and task prioritisation in busy periods
Leading weekly catch ups with team members
Leading call blocks and collective team actions, such as proactive selling and client courtesy calls
Playing a role in the recruitment and training of new starters
Providing extra support for new starters during their 6 month probation period
Carry out checks on bookings at various stages – first itinerary (new starters), confirmation (all consultants), Info-Pack (new starters), group tours (all consultants)
Enquiry management
Distribution and tracking of new enquiries among own team
Coordinating with US Manager, Sales Manager and colleagues to ensure enquiry management balanced across
Ensuring enquiries distributed according to capacity of individual team members
Ensure sufficient phone coverage within team at all times of day
Manage team holiday time to ensure adequate capacity within team
Customer service
Support for complaint-handling and managing operational issues
Liaise with Sales Support Staff and ensure effective support
Liaise with Nagoya office tantos, to ensure effective support
Training and development
Promoting a culture of self-analysis and peer support within the team
Leading appraisals and ensuring follow up through effective Personal Development Plans
Involvement in design and delivery of group and individual training
Ensuring training is implemented and embedded
Other tasks
Deputising for US Manager where necessary
Other reasonable tasks as requested by US Manager and/or Directors

TECHNICAL POSITIONS

Sabre Scribe Developer


The responsibilities are as follows: • Work with key stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into Sabre Scribe scripts • Develop scripts/code to support the requirements • Involved in development, testing and implementing of custom Sabre Scribe scripts • Effectively communicate problem definition, status, resolution and impact to stakeholders • Assist with documentation and implementation of development standards • Taking ownership of their deliverables and seeking for improvements where applicable 
 The skills required are as follows: • Experience with Sabre GDS • Hands on experience with Sabre Scribe and Sabre scripting to support TMC business requirements • Experience using Eclipse IDE to write Sabre Scripts • Experience with Sabre App development is a plus • Experience using the Sabre Red Workspace toolkit applications such as Qik Developer toolkit and SRW Runtime Services to automate aspects of agent workflow is a plus • Robust research and problem solving skills • Ability to think abstractly, but have logical problem solving skills • Ability to turn business requirements into developed solutions • Ability to work in a dynamic environment while juggling multiple priorities 


Remote GDS Script Architect 


is responsible for the design, development and support of our Sabre scripts used for increasing productivity through standardizing and streamlining PNR transactions.  
 
The role requires close collaboration with VP of Operations, Automation and technical teams to produce scripted functions which satisfy complex business requirements.  Reports to the VP of Automation and can be based virtually.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
 
 Gather and document business requirements to ensure the delivered functionality meets the needs of the client, end-user and downstream processes.   Design, develop and test Sabre scripts to meet the documented requirements  Recommend best practices for enterprise script package deployment.   Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper interfacing with other products and processes while considering down line impact.  Collaborate with Training Department on producing high-quality end-user documentation and training on script functionality.  Troubleshoot reported script issues and communicate applicable resolutions and timelines.   Keep management apprised of any potential roadblocks that could impact release dates.  Ability to think abstractly, but have logical problem solving skills  Ability to turn business requirements into developed solutions  Ability to work in a dynamic environment while juggling multiple priorities 
 Qualifications 
 
 Must have experience with Concur Compleat  Experience using Eclipse IDE to write Sabre Scripts  Experience with Sabre App development is a plus  Developer toolkit and SRW run time services to automate aspects of agent workflow is a plus  Good understanding of the development best practices, process and cycle  Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)  Ability to travel domestically & internationally on as needed basis  Expert knowledge of Sabre GDS (minimum of 8 -10 years) & in Sabre Scribe script design, development and deployment  Experience with work flow design in the travel industry  Thorough understanding of Sabre Red platform and native Sabre functionality  Ability to convert abstract ideas into functional process  Must be process-driven with a focus on streamlining workflow, increasing efficiency and minimizing GDS hits  Ability to work with minimal supervision  Flexibility and ability to adjust work schedule to accommodate necessary script release deadlines and provide post release support  Self-motivation and ability to manage workload to meet deadlines  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality  ​​

This position is the  primary person responsible for maximizing traffic to our family of travel websites by improving page rank within search engines and handling digital media decision-making across multiple platforms, to include updating content, headlines, and blogs and  microsites.

 •           Collect and analyze web metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit etc.
•           Assist in setting up or optimizing analytics tools for tracking visitor’s behavior.
