Travel Advisor, Tucson, AZ

The Travel Advisor will manage all aspects of the client’s travel from initial request to completion while providing back-office support for various systems and assisting with managerial projects and initiatives. The Travel Advisor is responsible for making professional, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for clients within the company guidelines and standards for exceptional customer service
 Job tasks:
Completes travel arrangements for client with air, hotel, car, tour, rail, cruise and ground transportation that meet the needs of the client, whiles utilizing preferred vendors.
Follows company procedures, guidelines and standards to provide best in class customer service.
Builds customer profiles, ticketing,
Prepare and distribute clients’ travel documents.
Use proactive sales outbound calls to help generate business.
Develop relationships with clients to generate return business and secure new business.
Fully informed and stays abreast of all airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and other industry requirements and accurately applies this information when making travel arrangements.
Research and provide solutions/alternatives for customer travel.
Maintain a working knowledge of and use of the Client Base (CRM) technology.
Plan, describe, arrange, and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives.
Maintains high level of competency, initiative, confidentiality and professional demeanor.
Participates fully as a team member to assist as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client, including ticket processing, clerical functions, prepaid tickets, debit memos, etc.
Competencies:
1+ years of travel experience is a plus
Knowledge of computer reservation programs (GDS), such as SABRE, Galileo or similar is a plus
Familiarity with consultative sales and relationship building
Deadline –oriented and able to work efficiently and manage multiple priorities
Domestic and international travel knowledge
Ability to work in a team environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Proficient internet research skills
Track record of achieving sales goals and objectives
High self-motivation and ability to work independently
Education/Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
High school diploma or equivalent.


Customer Service Representative – Delray Beach, FL

Hours: Monday – Friday 10 am – 6 pm, possible weekend shifts as needed.

Ability to answer live calls during an 8-hour work shift maintaining a personable and professional demeanour throughout.
Detailed follow up skills, reporting, and prioritizing of calls.  
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Spanish is not a requirement but preferred.
Strong attention to detail when dealing with agent information, travel booking information, and records.
Travel industry background, leisure side preferred. Dealing with travel agents or former travel agent experience.
1 – 2-year call centre experience preferred.

 

Leisure Travel Agent - Atlanta 

We are looking for a travel agent with at least 2 years experience in either corporate and or leisure transactions, who is passionate about traveling. You will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and you will provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services. Emphasis will be on Corporate Travel with Leisure involvement.
•           Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, insurance and other travel services
•           Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations
•           Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travelers
•           Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
•           Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
•           Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds

 The travel concierge is a support role for our travel advisers in an effort to maximize their selling time and ability through researching travel options, customer interaction and focused product & promotion knowledge. •           Create and enter customer profile information and attach quote requests in Client Base.
•           Ensure leads are valid. (i.e. travel adviser, non US/CAN residents) and verify leads and profiles tovoid crossover between advisers
•           Send follow up emails after a quote has been sent and prospect has not been in touch
•           Prepare and coordinate correspondence and mailing
•           Send reminders, booking and confirming clients regarding dining and shore excursions
•           Acquire details and update Guest Information Forms/ Immigration details
•           Detail every record precisely at all times
•           Send “Welcome home” emails or phone calls
•           Send “Touch base” emails six months after the last trip
•           Respond to client’s questions regarding existing reservations, deposits, insurance, excursions, etc.
•           Verify all details are in place for promotions.  Give travel adviser copy of promotion details.
•           Research and prepare pre and post trip packages
•           Stay abreast of new promotions
